I wasn't sure where the author was going when the mafia was introduced but soon learned how much of an integral part of the plot they actually were. I love the title! It creates tension and supports a story with more twists and turns than a country back road. Just as I thought, I knew where the story was going, I learned I wasn’t even close, which happened so many times throughout the book. The most intriguing key character appeared to be despicable, with little redeeming value. I hoped he would be bumped off early on, but the tale moved toward painting a totally different man, which kept me reading nonstop to see where in the world it was going. I know that writing Trust No One, Promise Nothing is only the beginning. I can’t wait for the sequel.
